Clinical Research Associates of Central PA maintains a standard 40% overhead rate for industry-sponsored clinical research budgets, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

This overhead rate applies to the direct study budget and is assessed separately from pass-through costs, start-up fees, close-out fees, and other line-item administrative charges unless expressly stated otherwise in the final agreed budget.

The overhead rate supports the institutional and operational infrastructure required for compliant, high-quality study conduct, including but not limited to:

• regulatory administration and document management

• study start-up support and site activation processes

• quality assurance and oversight

• budget development and contract administration

• finance and payment processing

• information technology and secure data systems

• facilities and general research infrastructure

• administrative support for ongoing study operations

Clinical Research Associates of Central PA reserves the right to review and adjust study budgets based on protocol complexity, workload, visit intensity, enrollment demands, pharmacy requirements, device handling, laboratory processing, and sponsor-specific operational needs.
